Wise Mind Project Opening Meeting Was Held in Istanbul
Wise Mind Project (with the contact number 2019-2-TR01-KA205-078707) is supported by European Commission under the Erasmus + Key Action 2 Youth Education Programme through the Turkish National Agency.
In the Wise Mind project, carried out under the coordination of Istanbul Provincial Directorate of Family, Labor and Social Services between 01/11/2019 and 31/10/2022, Istanbul University-Cerrahpasa,Governorship of İstanbul, YOUNET (Italy), Youth for Equality (Slovakia), Anata Foundation (Netherlands), Drosostalida (Greece) and Human & Longevity (Bulgaria) are the partners of the project. The primary objective of the Wise Mind project is to develop the crisis management skills of traumatized young people and youth workers working with these young people.
The kick-off meeting of the project was held in Istanbul on 4-5 February 2020, hosted by Istanbul Provincial Directorate of Family, Labor and Social Services. Among the local project, Governorship of İstanbul, Istanbul University – Cerrahpaşa and Başlangıç Association; and foreign partners, YOUNET (Italy), Youth for Equality (Slovakia) and Drosostali (Greece) participated in the meeting. The project objectives, outputs and activities were presented to all partners in detail. The draft assessment tool developed to be used by partner institions in the selection and evaluation of current good practices in crisis management was presented and suggestions were received.
The next international project management meeting of the project will be held in Bratislava, Slovakia, 9 – 10th of July 2020.
